Chinese American soprano Cecilia Cai enjoys an active international career, performing throughout Europe, Asia, and North America. Her operatic repertoire includes many leading dramatic and lyric soprano roles, including the title role in Tosca, Aida, Leonora (Il Trovatore), Leonora (La forza del destino), Cio-Cio-San (Madama Butterfly), Violetta (La Traviata), Desdemona (Otello), Santuzza (Cavalleria Rusticana), Suor Angelica, Nedda (Pagliacci), Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni), and both Carmen and Micaëla in Carmen.

A sought-after concert artist, Ms. Cai has appeared as the soprano soloist in Verdi's Requiem and has been a guest soloist with ensembles including the Dalian Philharmonic Orchestra, the Beijing Rhine Sunshine Opera Troupe, and the Golden Gate Symphony. She has performed in concerts and recitals throughout China, Italy, and the United States, and has also made professional recordings with XinAiQin Media in Beijing.

Ms. Cai holds degrees in music, education, and opera performance from Santa Clara University and the Conservatory of Music in Cremona, Italy. She is the founder and General Director of the California Lyric Artists Association and also maintains a private voice studio.
